Terms and Conditions

By filling out the signup form you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to the following terms and conditions.

Joining the Program

By filling out the signup form you will automatically become an affiliate and are bound by the terms of this agreement. Your participation in the program is solely for this purpose: To legally advertise our website to receive a commission on products purchased by your referral individuals.

Revocation of Affiliate Status

Your affiliate application and status in the program may be suspended or terminated for any of the following reasons:

• Inappropriate advertisements (e.g. false claims, misleading hyperlinks..)
• Spamming (e.g. bulk email sending, mass newsgroup po sting...)
• Advertising on sites containing/promoting illegal activities.
• Advertising on sites containing/promoting adult rated content (e.g. porn sites, gambling sites...)
• Violation of intellectual property rights.
• The affiliate program is terminated (we will give affiliates at least 14 days notice if this happens).

Affiliate Links

You may use graphic and text links both on your website and in emails. The site may also be advertised offline in classified ads, magazines, newspapers etc. You may use the graphics and text provided or you may create your own so long as you let us know where they are online so we can approve them. We reserve the right to ask you to remove any ad we feel inappropriate for any reason.

Affiliate Tracking

All tracking is carried out by an independent third-party (mals-e.com). When a web surfer clicks through your affiliate link, a cookie is set in their browser that contains your affiliate username. Also, their IP address is tracked in the database along with your affiliate name. When this person decides to buy a product, the script will look for this cookie and/or try to match their IP address to identify the affiliate who will be awarded the commission. Visitors sent through your affiliate link may make a purchase later in time (up to 30 days) and the commission will still be awarded if the cookie is present in their browser and/or the are using the same IP address as the one logged in the database.

Payment

Payment for referrals will be made at the rate of 5% (rounded down to the nearest £0.01) on all final sales that are directly attributable to the affiliate member. A "final" sale is one where Gizmo-Guru has received cleared payment. Commission payments will be made during the first 2 weeks of each month for the commissions earned during the previous month. We reserve the right to change the commission rate at any time in which case we will give you 14 days notice of any such changes. Payments will be made by electronic bank transfer directly into any UK bank or via Paypal. We reserve the right add or remove payment options.

Terms of the agreement

These terms will begin upon your signup with the affiliate program and will end when your affiliate account is terminated. The terms of this agreement (including, but not limited to, commission rates) may be modified by us at any time. If any modification to the terms is unacceptable to you, your only choice is to terminate your affiliate account. Your continuing participation in the program constitutes your acceptance of any change.
